Rules & Regulations

  • The duration of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course is 03 years, which is conducted by the rules and regulations derived from CAR-147(Basic), CAR – 66 issued by the DGCA, Government of India and divided into six semesters of six months each.
  • The entire course consists of basic knowledge training, basic knowledge examination, practical training and practical assessment. Both the Theory and practical training is imparted in each semester and accordingly the semester exams are conducted for theory and practical.
  • All the candidates will be sent for practical training on airports/Maintenance organizations where they will work in actual working environment.

In this duration learners have to appear for two different types of examinations i.e Semester Exams and Modules Exams.

  • Semester Exams: In Each semester both theoretical and practical exams are conducted in the college premises under supervision of DGCA approved Examination Manager. If anyone fails to clear any paper in semester, he/she have to appear for re-semester exam.
  • Module Exams: Apart from passing the semester exams every student has to appear Modular Examinations which is conducted by CEO, DGCA, Govt. of India in Delhi. If anyone fails to clear any module, he/she can reappear it in next session.
  • Candidates appearing for current semester will not be promoted to the next semester till candidate clears the previous semester exams.
  • No fee will be charges for semester examination, however if student is not attending examination without valid reason then they will be charged extra fine along with re-examination fee.

DISCIPLINE AND CODE OF CONDUCT FOR STUDENTS:

  • Punctuality and regularity in attendance is essential. In case of illness a Medical Certificate should be produced.
  • Entry into premises is not permitted before 8:30 a.m. Late arrival will be permitted between 8:50 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., only 3 times in a month.
  • A minimum of 90% attendance is compulsory to be eligible to appear in the examination as per DGCA regulations, and will be charged fine for short attendance.
  • Students must come to institute in neatly laundered uniform and polished shoes. The hair should be trimmed and the nails must be cut regularly.
  • Students are not allowed to use mobile phones in the college premises without permission.
  • Respect for institute property and institute belongings is an absolute must.
  • In the event of collective damage to institute property, the entire group will be charged the cost of damage. A vigilant outlook should be maintained towards keeping the surroundings clean. All waste papers should be picked up and thrown into the dustbin.
  • Students are not allowed to leave the class without class out-pass and without permission of the teacher.
  • A student must speak in decent language all the time. He must ensure that his speech is courteous and polite.
  • Every student is required to carry the institute identity card each day of the institute.
  • English is second language for most of us, but it is also a medium of instruction. In order to acquire proficiency in spoken English, all students must compulsorily converse in English in institute (and at home as far as possible).
  • A student must extend due courtesy and respect to all members of staff. Respect of elders and affection for juniors should be soundly inculcated. Every child is expected to uphold the name & honour of the institute.
  • Students must report any incident of bullying and ragging to the teachers immediately.

PROHIBITED BEHAVIOUR:

  • Irregular attendance, unjustified or unexplained absence, habitual late coming, leaving the school premises without permission, disobedience and any type of unruly and objectionable behaviour.
  • Use of foul and unparliamentary language and participating in any incident of bullying and ragging.
  • Resource to use of unfair means during examinations.
  • Making noise, talking loudly, shouting, jeering, hacking, booing, name calling, making cat calls, hissing, mocking and whistling, at any time.
  • Collecting money, contribution and donation without written permission.
  • Smoking in and around the campus.

Important: No parent or student shall give misleading facts/opinions or any blog(s) to website, social media channel(s) about the institute, any teacher or student. If they are defamatory in nature or deemed to be so by the Internal Review Committee, it would be considered as a serious breach of Code of Conduct.

LIBRARY RULES:

  • All students of the institute are members of the library. Strict discipline and silence should be observed in the library.
  • Library books should be taken care of and returned on the due date.
  • Marking, underlining, writing or damaging pages of the books are strictly prohibited.
  • Late fine after 7 days: Rs. 10/- per day and loss of book, to be replaced with same book or current cost of book to be paid.
