Becoming an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) is a prestigious achievement that requires candidates to fulfil specific eligibility criteria, develop specialized skills, and demonstrate a strong commitment to the aviation industry. Eligibility Criteria for AME Course

To meet the standards for Aircraft Maintenance Engineer qualifications, candidates must fulfil the following requirements:

  • Educational Qualifications: Completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics is mandatory. Alternatively, candidates with a 3-year engineering diploma in fields such as Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Aeronautical Engineering are also eligible.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Enrollment in a DGCA-approved CAR 147 Basic Training Organization is required to meet the national aviation regulatory standards.
